What is the Iberian of Campo?
The Iberian de Campo, officially named Cebo de Campo, is an Iberian pig that lives in the open air and feeds on grass, plants and shrubs. Its diet is supplemented by the hand of man with cereals, vegetables and plants.
The paleta is the shoulder of our Iberian pig, while the ham is the hind leg.
Spanish people themselves have the habit of saying about the paleta: "mas grasa, mas rica, mas sabrosa..." which is translated as "fatter, richer, tastier...".
